I always go here first! Almost always Placerville Hardware has the obscure item I require. Their personnel are always courteous and helpful.

The oldest operating hardware store east of The Mississippi. Walking in is like stepping back in time. They have just about everything you might need hardware wise. Large kitchen, gold panning, and gift sections.
