We went on a day trip to Placerville. Did you know Placerville Hardward is the oldest hardware store west of the Rockies?! So we checked it out! WOW! What don't they have! What a fun, fun place!! It's packed with the most of everything! The Hummingbird feeders are fabulous! The kitchenware is incredible, and they sparkle atmosphere! Yeah! In a hardware store! We had so much fun. The ladies at the register were so friendly and sweet. It was like being checked out by my Grammy!

Nice people work here who know this store like the back of their hands. I ended up buying a classifier for mining and a jewelers loupe. They have a lot of unique inventory. The store has been kept original. The creaking wood floors that probably have gold dust in every crack.
